Selma Inocência has more than 15 years of experience in Journalism, Communication and Project Management. She worked on media, NGOs, CSO and in private energy sector. Selma won two CNN Journalist Awards (2011 and 2013). She lived and worked as journalist in Angola (Luanda) and in Germany (Bonn). In 2017, she received the merit award from the Graça Machel Trust Foundation for her commitment to promoting the leadership of young women and girls. Selma studied law at Eduardo Mondlane University and made specializations in Conflict Resolution, Post-conflict and Peacekeeping (2013); and also in International Election Observation (2018) at the Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution (ASPR).
